Reinforced Steel Truss and Fine Aggregate Concrete Composite Slab (HJ Slab) – Project Case PPT
The HJ prefabricated, non‑removable bottom‑form steel truss composite slab is manufactured in a factory using mechanized processes. A alkali‑resistant fiberglass mesh is laid on the mold’s bottom layer, and a 20 mm‑thick fiber‑reinforced fine‑aggregate concrete is cast. Steel trusses with embedded connecting reinforcement are then inserted, and the fiber‑reinforced concrete fully encases the connecting bars to form the bottom plate. After curing and hardening, the resulting component serves as a precast element. During construction, it functions as formwork, capable of supporting all construction loads; in service, it works in concert with cast‑in‑place concrete to jointly bear loads, thereby constituting the HJ steel truss composite floor slab.

“Future Mission”: Grand Infrastructure, Building a Better Life
Binzhou Hongji Building Materials Co., Ltd. is located in Boxing, Shandong Province, at the heart of the Yellow River Delta and the Blue Economy Circle. With a registered capital of RMB 25 million and a factory site covering 85,000 m², the company has, over its seventeen-year history, evolved into a comprehensive high-tech enterprise in the residential industrialization sector. It integrates the promotion of building energy‑saving and structural integration technologies, the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of HJ steel‑truss composite panels, intelligent equipment, prefabricated building components, ready‑mixed concrete, specialty mortars, and specialized joint‑filling mortars for steel‑truss composite panels.
Application and Development of Steel‑Reinforced Truss Composite Slabs in Modern Construction
As the industrialization of construction accelerates and green‑building principles gain wider acceptance, traditional cast-in-place concrete floor slabs are increasingly revealing drawbacks such as long construction cycles, substantial formwork consumption, and poor on‑site working conditions. Steel‑truss composite slabs, a novel prefabricated floor system, seamlessly integrate the mechanical advantages of steel trusses with the material properties of concrete, demonstrating significant benefits in terms of construction efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and structural performance.
